Dr. Richee Berry

Pediatric Dentist Dr. Richee BerryDr. Richee Kimberly Berry is known for her gentle and creative touch. She enjoys helping each of her patients improve their health, appearance, and self-esteem by creating the smile of their dreams, and also maintaining the health and function of their teeth, gums, and bite.

She graduated from University of Maryland in 2003. Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Howard University in 2005, allows her to offer her patients a superior dental experience and an unparalleled level of quality care. She is truly committed to excellence in everything she does.

During her spare time Dr. Berry likes to get outdoors to jog, take Zumba lessons and relax with her husband and 2 daughters.

Dr. Bryce Miller

Pediatric Dentist Dr. Bryce MillerDr. Bryce Miller completed his dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is committed to the profession, taking as many continuing education classes to advance his training. He believes that creating a comfortable dental experience for patients is very important. He understands that a healthy mouth is the foundation in maintaining overall health and giving a patient confidence in everyday life.

In his spare time, Dr. Miller leads an active life. Dr. Miller enjoys hiking, running and snowboarding along with playing video games in the evening to relax.

Dr. Jarrett Caldwell

Pediatric Dentist Dr. Jarrett CaldwellDr. Jarrett Caldwell “Dr. JC” attended Florida A&M University on a tennis and academic scholarship and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. It was here that his mentor introduced him to dentistry. After graduation Dr. Caldwell moved from sunny Florida to Washington, DC to attend Howard University College of Dentistry and earned his dental degree.

While attending Howard University College of Dentistry Dr. Caldwell discovered that he had an interest in treating children and was lucky enough to be accepted and complete the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency program. After working as an orthodontist for a few years he decided that he wanted to expand his knowledge and capability to treat children of all ages by pursuing a residency in Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Conneticut Health Center and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT. In his spare time Dr. Caldwell enjoys playing golf, tennis, and reading world history.

Dr. Melanie Jones

Pediatric Dentist Dr. Melanie JonesDr. Melanie was born and raised in Peru, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Her passion for children was evident with each and every patient she encountered and, knowing that educating and positively influencing young patients is key, she went on to earn a diploma in early childhood education. Dr. Melanie worked in a dental clinic located in a primary school until love (her husband) made her leave her native Peru and move to the U.S. Once settled in Alexandria, Virginia, she enrolled in Howard University College of Dentistry, graduating on the dean’s list. While in dental school, she had her daughter, now three years old, and decided to continue her studies at Howard to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry. In her final year at Howard, she was appointed Pediatric Chief Resident.

Dr. Melanie is incredibly passionate about her profession as a pediatric dentist and especially her patients, whom she calls her “little friends.” She strives to provide exceptional dental care for children while trying her absolute best to meet their individual needs — because she understands no child is alike. Dr. Melanie believes that a friendly and positive environment will create the foundation for lifelong good dental health and that the parents often are her best allies in achieving and maintaining their children’s oral health. For this reason, she strives to share with parents the most current information related topediatric dentistry, as well as tips — and her own personal experiences as a mom — for parents seeking solutions to tough dental care situations, from getting a child to brush their teeth to the best time to start flossing.

Dr. Nicholas B. Gordon

Dr. Nicholas B. Gordon is a native of Fort Washington, MD and a graduate of Morehouse College. He completed dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he also obtained a Master of Public Health degree. Dr. Gordon went on to complete specialty training in both Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Gordon’s approach to oral health is one based on prevention. He enjoys providing excellent dental care for children and adolescents while giving practical tips on keeping mouths healthy for life. He uses the latest evidence-based products in his practice of dentistry so that patients receive high quality care.

Dr. Gordon is an adjunct faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is a faculty site director at Tufts for Global Service-Learning in Haiti. Additionally, he serves as Co-Chair of the National Dental Association Global Oral Health Outreach Committee where he works to increase access to dental care for vulnerable communities locally and abroad. Dr. Gordon is a lifelong learner and has received various awards for his research and commitment to service. One of his greatest joys comes from helping children become cavity-free adults.

In his spare time, Dr. Gordon enjoys advocating to lawmakers for increased access to oral health care for all people. He also enjoys running, kayaking and speaking to youth about the wonderful profession of dentistry.
