Dr. Nicholas B. Gordon is a native of Fort Washington, MD and a graduate of Morehouse College. He completed dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he also obtained a Master of Public Health degree. Dr. Gordon went on to complete specialty training in both Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Gordon’s approach to oral health is one based on prevention. He enjoys providing excellent dental care for children and adolescents while giving practical tips on keeping mouths healthy for life. He uses the latest evidence-based products in his practice of dentistry so that patients receive high quality care.
Dr. Gordon is an adjunct faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is a faculty site director at Tufts for Global Service-Learning in Haiti. Additionally, he serves as Co-Chair of the National Dental Association Global Oral Health Outreach Committee where he works to increase access to dental care for vulnerable communities locally and abroad. Dr. Gordon is a lifelong learner and has received various awards for his research and commitment to service. One of his greatest joys comes from helping children become cavity-free adults.
In his spare time, Dr. Gordon enjoys advocating to lawmakers for increased access to oral health care for all people. He also enjoys running, kayaking and speaking to youth about the wonderful profession of dentistry.
